Sono due villette ubicate a soli 7 km dal paese di Porto S. Stefano, sul promontorio situato sopra l’Isola Rossa.
Il panorama che offrono queste villette è unico: stando comodamente seduti al tavolo posto sotto al gazebo si può godere di una meravigliosa vista del mare, dell’Isola Rossa e dell’Isola di Giannutri. La tranquillità e l’eleganza sono gli elementi che caratterizzano queste case.
Per accedervi si oltrepassa un cancello elettrico e dopo circa 10-15 mt troverete il posto auto riservato per “Smeralda” e dopo altri 10-15 mt il posto auto riservato per “Ambra”. Poco distante da “Ambra” vi è una stradina di campagna delimitata da cipressi che conduce alla villa del proprietario. Quest’ultimo, molto rispettoso della privacy dei suoi ospiti, alcune volte risiede nella villa ubicata poco più in alto (comunque la vegetazione è così fitta che dalla villa padronale non si riesce a vedere le altre villette sottostanti).
Ancora più a destra della piccola strada che conduce alla villa del proprietario (circa 20-30 metri più a destra di “Ambra”), alla fine della proprietà, si trova la villa più grande chiamata "Raggio di Sole".       

Le due villette sono unite l’una all’altra (viste dall’alto formano una “L”: “Smeralda” rappresenta la parte più corta della “L”, mentre “Ambra” la parte più allungata), ma ciascuna ha il proprio posto all’aperto indipendente e quasi diametralmente opposto. Inoltre la presenza di varie piante di olivo, i cipressi, i cespugli di rosmarino formano una barriera verde che mette al riparo dalla vista degli ospiti dell’altra villetta ma che, allo stesso tempo, non impedisce una vista da sogno sul mare.
Entrambe le villette non hanno il giardino recintato e dispongono di una doccia in giardino.
Internamente sono molto simili ed arredate con gusto (vi sono anche alcuni mobili d’antiquariato!). Dispongono di un ampio soggiorno con angolo cottura, camino, Tv con ricevitore satellitare (“Astra”). Dal soggiorno si passa al reparto notte incontrando dapprima la camerina con due letti singoli e, successivamente, la camera matrimoniale. Entrambe le villette dispongono di due bagni con doccia e di lavatrice. Sono presenti anche i riscaldamenti così da divenire abitazioni ideali per chi volesse trascorrere delle vacanze al mare anche in mesi un po’ più freschi.
Il punto più vicino e facilmente accessibile al mare dista circa 3,3 km (“Le Cannelle”). Si può raggiungere in auto ed una volta posteggiato sulla strada si devono percorrere solamente 200 mt a piedi per raggiungere il mare.
“Smeralda” e “Ambra” sono due ville adatte a persone che ricercano tranquillità e serenità.

 MAPALUCA-AMBRA e SMERALDA They  are two small villas only 7km from the small town of Porto S.Stefano, on the headland just above ”Isola Rossa” (The Red Island).
The view from these villas is unique: just by sitting comfortably on the garden bench or at the table under the gazebo, you can enjoy the view on the sea with the Giannutri island. Quietness,  elegance and privacy characterise this house.
To get to these two villas you will have to go through an electric gate : after about 10-15 metres you will find the parking area for “Smeralda”, and after 10-15 more metres the parking area for “Ambra”.   A little far away from “Ambra” there is a narrow road, lined by cypresses, which leads to the owner’s villa. The owner, who is very respectful of  his guests’ privacy, sometimes stays in the villa which is located a little  further uphill. Anyway, the vegetation is so thick that you cannot see the other small villas below from there.
To the right of the road leading to the owner’s villa, (about 20-30 metres to the right of “Ambra”) at the end of the property, you can see the biggest villa called "Raggio di Sole".
The two small villas are joined and, seen from above, they have the shape of an L. “Smeralda” is the shortest part of the L, while “Ambra” is the longest one. Both villas have their own gardens which are almost diametrically opposed. Besides, the various olive trees, cypresses, and rosemary bushes form a sort of green barrier that gives the two villas a total privacy but that, at the same time, does not prevent guests from having a dream view on the sea.
The gardens of both villas  are not fenced but have a shower in them.
The villas are very similar inside and are furnished with taste (there are also some antiques). They have a large living room each, with a cooking area, a fireplace, and SAT TV with a dish pointed towards Astra. The night area can be reached from the living room. There. you will first meet a  twin bedroom and then the double bedroom. Both villas have two bathrooms with a shower and a washingmachine. They have also central heating and can therefore be ideal for people who want to stay there also in spring and autumn. The nearest beach is  3.3 km from the villa (“Le Cannelle”). You can get there by car. Once you have parked your car you only have to walk 200 metres to get to the beach.
“Smeralda” and “Ambra” are for people who love  tranquillity and quietness.

 MAPALUCA-AMBRA e SMERALDA Es handelt sich um zwei Villen, die 7 km Porto S. Stefano entfernt liegen, auf dem Vorgebirge oberhalb der Insel Rossa.
Die Villen bieten ein einzigartiges Panorama: Ob Sie auf einer Gartenbank oder auf der Sitzgruppe unter dem Pavillon sitzen, der Blick aufs Meer und auf die Insel Giannutri ist immer ein Genuss. Die Ruhe, die Eleganz und die Privatsphäre sind die Besonderheiten dieses Hauses.
Durch ein elektrisches Tor kommt man auf das Grundstück und nach ca. 10-15 m erreicht man den reservierten Autoabstellplatz für „Smeralda“ und weitere 15 m dahinter den für „Ambra“. Wenig entfernt von „Ambra“ liegt eine kleine Zypressenallee, die zum Besitzerhaus führt. Der Besitzer, der viel Respekt vor der Privatsphäre der Gäste hat, wohnt gelegentlich in der Villa, die etwas oberhalb liegt (allerdings ist die Vegetation so dicht, dass man vom Besitzerhaus die anderen Villen nicht sehen kann). An der rechten Seite dieser Allee (ca. 20-30 m rechts von „Ambra“), d.h. am Ende des Grundstücks liegt die größte Villa "Raggio di Sole".
Die zwei Villen „Smeralda“ und „Ambra“ sind verbunden (von oben gesehen bilden sie ein „L“. „Smeralda“ bildet die kurze Seite des „L“ und „Ambra“ die lange), aber jedes Haus verfügt über einen eigenen, unabhängigen und fast genau entgegengesetzt liegenden Außenbereich.
Olivenbäume, Zypresse, Rosmarinbüsche und andere Mittelmeerpflanzen dienen als grüne Barriere und schützen vor den Blicken der Gäste der jeweils anderen Villa, ohne aber den Blick aufs Meer zu behindern. Die Gärten beider Villen sind nicht eingezäunt. Beide verfügen über eine Dusche im Garten. Die Villen sind mit Geschmack sehr ähnlich eingerichtet (es sind auch einige antike Möbel dabei). Sie verfügen über ein großes Wohnzimmer mit Kochecke, Kamin, Sat TV (Astra). Vom Wohnzimmer aus kommt man in den Schlafbereich, der aus einem Zweibettzimmer und einem Doppelbettzimmer besteht. Jede Villa hat zwei Bäder mit Dusche und eine Waschmaschine. Eine Heizung ist vorhanden, die auch einen Urlaub in der frischeren Jahreszeit ermöglicht.
Der nächste leicht erreichbare Zugang zum Meer befindet sich in ca. 3.3 km Entfernung („Le Cannelle“). Man kann mit dem Auto dorthin fahren und entlang der Straße parken. Danach sind es nur noch 200 m zu Fuß zum Strand.
