Fra Pisa e Volterra, sulle colline della Valdera, a soli 5 km da Chianni, si può scoprire un mare di verde punteggiato da case senza età, dove la tranquillità ha preso il posto della vita frenetica di ogni giorno.
In questa parte delle campagna toscana “Il Casale” offre un soggiorno esclusivo a 14/15 persone in una casa contadina restaurata con cura.
Dalla collina dove sorge Il Casale si può vedere Volterra (40km), San Gimignano (50km) oppure raggiungere facilmente Pisa (48km), Siena (90km) e Firenze (90km). In estate si può andare al mare a Castiglioncello (35km) oppure a Vada (35km). Infine Casciana Terme dista solamente 9km.
Anticamente il casale era suddiviso in 3 strutture che con il passare degli anni sono state accorpate.
Oggi, la costruzione si compone di due casali: il più grande con un ingresso a piano terra ed al primo piano che si raggiunge per mezzo di una scalinata esterna; il secondo, più piccolo, si trova al primo piano e vi si accede solamente per mezzo di una scalinata esterna.

Il casale più grande (ca. 500mq) dispone al piano terra di un ampio porticato chiuso a vetri dov’è possibile mangiare in qualsiasi periodo dell’anno, di un grande soggiorno caratterizzato da 4 archi in cotto, grande camino, ampia cucina con forno a gas, forno a legna e camino, 2 bagni con doccia ed una camera matrimoniale. Al primo piano sono presenti 1 matrimoniale con all’interno un bagno con doccia, 1 matrimoniale con all’interno un bagno con  vasca, 2 camere matrimoniali con bagno con vasca in comune, una mansarda con un letto singolo ed infine una veranda.

Il casale più piccolo (ca. 90mq) si compone di soggiorno con angolo cottura (sufficiente solamente a preparare colazioni), 1 camera matrimoniale con all’interno un bagno con doccia ed 1 camera matrimoniale con all’interno un bagno con vasca.
A pochi passi dal casale vi è un vecchio capanno usato anticamente come rimessa degli attrezzi agricoli che oggi, invece, può essere usato dagli ospiti per cucinare all’aperto grazie al forno a legna ed al BBQ presenti al suo interno.
Durante i periodi estivi potete sostare all’aperto all’ombra del secolare leccio che si protende sull’aia.
Il Casale dispone di recinzione con cancello elettrico, di un ampio giardino di circa 15.000 mq ricco di piante e fiori fioriti durante i vari mesi dell’anno, di un’ampia piscina panoramica (6x12m) con bordo a sfioro, di Tv con ricevitore satellitare (puntato sul satellite “Hot Bird”) e di lettore DVD.
I cani sono ben accetti ma non devono mai essere lasciati soli in casa (qualora ne aveste più di due…. contattateci prima di prenotare).
I proprietari, simpatici e disponibili, creano per i loro ospiti sempre un'ottima atmosfera. Il prato viene tagliato quando gli ospiti si assentano e la piscina pulita mentre gli ospiti dormono ancora….....

IL CASALE Between Pisa and Volterra, on the Valledera hills, only 5 km from Chianni, there is a sea of green interspersed with timeless houses, where quietness has replaced everyday hectic life.
“Il Casale” offers an exclusive  holiday for 14/15 people in a farmhouse which has been accurately refurbished in this part of the Tuscan countryside.
From the hills, where the house stands, we can see Volterra (40 km), San Gimignano (50 km) and you can easily reach Pisa (48 km), Siena (90 km) and Florence (90 km). In summer, you can go to the sea in Castiglioncello  (35 km) or Vada  (35 km). Finally, Casciana Terme, is only 9 km away.
In old times the farmhouse was divided into three separated parts which were later unified. Today, the structure consists of two farmhouses : a larger one  (with an entrance on the ground floor and one on the first floor, which can be reached by means of an external staircase) and a smaller one, which is on the first floor and can be reached only by means of another external staircase.

The larger farmhouse (about 500 sq m) has a large glass enclosed portico on the ground floor, where you can take meals all the year round, a large living room with four fired brick arches, a large fireplace, a wide kitchen with a gas oven, a wood-burning oven and a fireplace, two bathrooms with a shower and a double bedroom. On the first floor, there is a double bedroom, which has a bathroom with a shower inside, another double bedroom, which has a bathroom with a tub, two double bedrooms which share a  bathroom with a tub, a mansard with a single bed and finally a veranda with cooking facilities.

The smaller farmhouse (about 90 sq m), has a living room with cooking facilities (just to make breakfast), a double bedroom, which has a bathroom with a shower inside, and a double bedroom which has a bathroom with a tub.
A few metres away from the farmhouse, there is an old shed which in old times was used to store farm tools and which nowadays, on the contrary, can be used to cook outside by guests, thanks to the wood-burning oven and the BBQ which are in the old shed.
In summer, you can sit in the open, under the ancient  ilex tree, whose branches stretch out over the farmyard.
The farmhouse is fenced and has an electric gate. It has also a large garden of about 15,000 sq m -which is full of plants and blossomed flowers all the year round -  and a large panoramic swimming pool (6x12) with the edge on the ground level. There is sat TV (with a dish pointed towards Hot Bird) and a DVD player in the farmhouse.
Dogs are welcome but they cannot be left alone inside (in case you have more than two, please contact us before booking).
The owners (who are friendly and available) offer their guests a very special ambience. Moreover, the lawn is cut when guests are away and the pool is cleaned while  guests are still asleep so as not to disturb them.

In alten Zeiten war „Il Casale“ in drei Strukturen geteilt, die später zusammengelegt wurden. Heute besteht „Il Casale „ aus zwei Landhäusern „Il Casale grande (groß)” und Il Casale piccolo (klein)“.

Il Casale grande (ca. 500 qm groß) hat einen Eingang im Erdgeschoß und einen im ersten Stock, der über eine Außentreppe erreichbar ist. Im Erdgeschoß verfügt über einen großen Wintergarten, wo man in jeder Jahreszeit essen kann, ein großes Wohnzimmer mit 4 Bogen aus Cotto, einen großen Kamin, eine große Küche mit Gasherde, Holzofen, zwei Bäder mit Dusche und ein Doppelbettzimmer. Im ersten Stock befinden sich ein Doppelbettzimmer mit eigenem Bad mit Dusche, ein Doppelbettzimmer mit eigenem Bad mit Badewanne, zwei Doppelbettzimmer mit gemeinsamem Bad mit Badewanne, ein Dachzimmer mit einem Einzelbett und eine Veranda.

Il Casale piccolo (ca 90 qm groß) befindet sich im ersten Stock und ist nur über eine Außentreppe erreichbar. Sie besteht aus einem Wohnzimmer mit Kochecke (nur gut für das Vorbereiten des Frühstückes), einem Doppelbettzimmer mit eigenem Bad mit Dusche und einem Doppelbettzimmer mit eigenem Bad mit Badewanne.
Wenige Schritte von „Il Casale“ entfernt ist der alte Schuppen, der heute für das Kochen im Freien (Holzofen und Grill) verwendet wird. Während des Sommers kann man sich im Freien im Schatten der jahrhundertealten Steineiche entspannen.
„Il Casale“ verfügt über eine Einzäunung mit elektrischem Tor, einen großen Garten (ca. 1500 qm groß) mit Pflanzen und Blumen, die in den unterschiedlichen Jahreszeiten blühen, einen Aussichtspool (6x12m) mit Rand auf Wasserniveau, Sat-TV (Hot-Bird) und DVD-Player.
Hunde sind erlaubt, allerdings darf man sie nie allein zu Hause lassen. (Wenn Sie mehr als einen Hund im Urlaub nehmen wollen, bitte melden Sie es bevor Sie buchen).
Die Besitzer sind nette Leute und stehen ihren Gästen zur Verfügung. Sie schaffen die ideale Atmosphäre für die Gäste: Die Wiese wird gemäht, wenn die Gäste nicht abwesend sind und der Pool sauber gemacht, wenn die Gäste noch schlafen ……….
