A soli 18 km da Castiglione della Pescaia (10-15 minuti d’auto), in Loc. Barbaruta, sorge “La Gattaia” (il nome si deve all’amore che la proprietaria ha per i gatti), una raffinata abitazione recentemente ristrutturata. I proprietari precedentemente vivevano a Firenze, ma non appena ebbero l’occasione acquistarono questo vecchio podere e adesso abitano qui.
In questa zona la tranquillità regna sovrana, inoltre si gode di una bellissima vista delle colline poco distanti dove sorgono i caratteristici paesini di Buriano e Vetulonia.
I proprietari nel periodo fra Maggio e Settembre sono spesso fuori per lavoro ed, in particolar modo nei mesi di Luglio-Agosto, sono quasi del tutto assenti: pertanto la privacy degli ospiti è pressoché garantita.

Armonia I proprietari abitano a piano terra, mentre in una porzione del primo piano è stato realizzato l’appartamento che viene affittato.
Per mezzo di una scalinata rivestita in cotto toscano si accede alla cucina finemente arredata  e munita di frigorifero, congelatore, forno e di tutto l’occorrente per cucinare.
Dalla cucina di accede ad un disimpegno e da qui alle due camere (una matrimoniale con divano letto e l’altra con due letti singoli). I due bagni sono molto eleganti ed entrambi con doccia. Uno di essi si trova all’interno della camera che dispone dei letti singoli.
In tutte le stanze sono presenti mobili d’epoca restaurati. Il buon gusto caratterizza questa struttura.
Nel giardino, a pochi metri dall’abitazione, c’è un pergolato, assai bello durante tutto il periodo che va da Maggio a Settembre, dove potete sedere all’aperto e far colazione oppure cenare. Vicino al pergolato c’è anche un barbecue.

Fontanella A circa 10-15 mt dalla casa padronale vi è un vecchio magazzino che i proprietari hanno trasformato in abitazione. E’ l’ideale per una coppia con uno o due bambini. Grazie alla presenza di un porticato con grigliato in legno su cui è stata fatta crescere una pianta di glicine, l’abitazione offre una buona privacy e un’ottima vista della campagna e delle colline circostanti. Nel soggiorno vi è un angolo cottura con frigorifero, fornelli ed un divano letto ad una piazza e mezzo. Dal soggiorno si accede alla camera matrimoniale. Il bagno è con doccia. L’arredamento è impeccabile e molto colorato. Un impianto di aria condizionate rinfrescherà le vostre vacanze estive.

Giogo Nei primi mesi del 2008, poco distante dall’abitazione “Fontanella”, è stato ristrutturato un altro piccolo magazzino. “Il Giogo” è molto simile a “La Fontanella” ed è ideale per una coppia con un bambino. L’abitazione dispone di un porticato di circa 13 mq, soggiorno con angolo cottura, fornelli, forno, frigorifero con congelatore ed un divano letto ad una piazza e mezzo. Per mezzo di un disimpegno si può accedere al bagno con doccia ed alla camera matrimoniale. Anche “Il Giogo” è dotato di un impianto di aria condizionata.

Il giardino dell’intera proprietà è recintato. Il proprietario accetta cani ma non dovete mai lasciarli soli in casa.
A partire dalla primavera 2008 gli ospiti delle tre abitazioni potranno usufruire anche della piscina (4,5x9m).

 LA GATTAIA Only 18 km from Castiglione della Pescaia (10-15 minutes by car), in a place called “Barbaruta”, you can find “La Gattaia”, so called because the owner loves cats a lot). This is a fine building which has been recently refurbished. The owners used to live in Florence, but, when they had the chance, they bought this old farmhouse where they  live now.
Quietness is the most important characteristic of the place but there is also a beautiful view over the not far away  hills on which the typical small villages of Buriano and Vetulonia stand.
In the period from May to September, the owners are often away for work, especially in July and August, therefore the guests’ privacy is guaranteed.

Armonia The owners live on the ground floor, while  the flat to be let is on part of the first floor.
A staircase, tiled with Tuscan fired bricks, leads to the finely furnished kitchen where there is a fridge, a freezer, an oven, and everything you need to cook.
From the kitchen you enter an access and, from there, the two bedrooms (a double one with a sofa bed, and a twin-bedded one). The two bathrooms are very elegant, and both have a shower. One of them is inside the twin-bedded room.
All the rooms are furnished with restored period furniture. Good taste is the main characteristic of this flat.
In the garden, a few metres from the house, there is a pergola, which is very beautiful during the whole period going from May to September, where guests can sit in the open and take meals. Near the pergola there is also a BBQ.

Fontanella About 10-15 metres from the owner’s house there is an old warehouse that  has been turned into a flat. It is ideal for a couple with one or two children. Thanks to a  porch with a wooden screen where a wisteria plant grows, the flat gets a lot of privacy and a good view over the countryside and  the surrounding hills. There is a cooking area in the living room with a fridge, a cooker and a three-quarter sofa bed. The flat is perfectly furnished and very colourful. It ‘s also equipped with air conditioning for the summer holidays.

Giogo In the first months of 2008, not far away from the house “La Fontanella”, another small warehouse was refurbished. “Il Giogo” which is very similar to “La Fontanella” and  ideal for a couple with one child. The house has a porch of about 13 sq m, a living room with a cooking area, a cooker, an oven, a fridge with a freezer and a three-quarter sofa bed . A corridor leads  to the bathroom with a shower and to the double bedroom. Also “Il Giogo” has got  air conditioning. 

The whole property garden is fenced. Dogs are welcome but they cannot be left alone inside.
From Spring 2008,  the guests of the three houses will be able to use the swimming pool too (4,5x9m).

 LA GATTAIA Nur 18 km von Castiglione della Pescaia entfernt (10-15 Minuten mit dem Auto), befindet sich in der Ortschaft Barbaruta „La Gattaia“ (den Namen hat die Besitzerin aus Liebe für die Katzen gewählt), ein sehr gepflegtes vor kurzem renoviertes Haus. Die Besitzer haben Florenz verlassen, dieses altes Landgut gekauft und wohnen jetzt hier. In dieser Gegend herrscht die Ruhe und von hier aus genießt man einen wunderschönen Blick auf die wenig entfernten Hügel, wo sich die, für die Gegend charakteristischen Dörfer, Buriano und Vetulonia befinden. Die Besitzer sind von Mai bis September häufig nicht anwesend und besonders in den Monaten Juli und August fast nie da. 

Armonia Die Besitzer wohnen im Erdgeschoß während ein Teil des ersten Stocks für die Ferienwohnung genutzt  wird. Über eine Außentreppe in toskanischem Cotto, kommt man in die gut eingerichtete Küche mit Kühlschrank, Gefrierfach, Herd mit Hofen und allem was man zum Kochen braucht. Von der Küche kommt man in einen Durchgangsraum und von diesem in die zwei Schlafzimmer (eines mit Doppelbettsofa und das andere mit zwei Einzelbetten). Die zwei Bäder sind sehr elegant eingerichtet und beide mit Dusche. Ein Bad befindet sich in dem Zimmer mit den zwei Einzelbetten. In jedem Raum gibt es alte restaurierte Möbel. Das ganze Haus ist von gutem Geschmack gekennzeichnet. Im Garten, wenige Meter vom Haus entfernt, gibt es eine sehr schöne Laube, in der man von Mai bis September im Freien sitzen, frühstücken oder Abend essen kann. In der Nähe der Laube befindet sich ein Grill.

Fontanella 10-15 Meter vom Herrenhaus entfernt liegt ein altes Lager, das die Besitzer in eine Wohnung umgewandelt haben. Sie ist ideal für ein Paar mit einem oder zwei Kindern. Dank einer Glyzine, die auf dem Holzgitter der überdachten Terrasse wächst, bietet die Wohnung gute Privatsphäre und einen wunderschönen Blick über die Landschaft und auf die umliegenden Hügel. Im Wohnzimmer befinden sich eine Kochecke mit Kühlschrank und Kochplatten und ein Schlafsofa mit französischem Bett. Von Wohnzimmer aus kommt man ins Doppelbettzimmer. Das Bad ist mit Dusche. Die Einrichtung ist tadellos und sehr farbig. Eine Klimaanlage bietet während Ihres Sommerurlaubs Erfrischung.

Giogo Anfang 2008 ist ein anderes kleines Lager, wenig entfernt von der Wohnung “ La Fontanella”, renoviert worden. „Il Giogo“ ist „La Fontanella“ sehr ähnlich und ist ideal für ein Paar mit einem Kind. Die Wohnung verfügt über eine 13 qm groß überdachte Terrasse, ein Wohnzimmer mit Kochecke (Herd, Ofen und Kühlschrank mit Tiefkühlfach) und ein franzosisches Bettsofa. Durch einen Flur kommt man ins Bad mit Dusche und ins Doppelzimmer. Auch „Il Giogo“ verfügt über Klimaanlage.

Der Garten des Gutes ist voll eingezäunt. Hunde sind willkommen, allerdings dürfen sie nie allein zu Hause gelassen werden.
Ab dem Frühling 2008 steht der Gäste der drei Wohnungen ein Pool (4,5x9m) zur Verfügung.
